Kenneth
(Kenny) Hull
March 4, 1967-February 28,
2007
Ken Hull was raised in Lincoln City
and graduated at Taft High School in 1985. Ken Hull joined
the United States Marine Corp and served with distinction.
After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corp,
Kenny (as his friends called him) resided in the Lincoln
City area for a number of years. Ken worked at the Outlet
Mall managing several of the Factory Outlet Stores. Ken
was the first employee hired at the Little Antique Mall
and worked there for over 5 years. Ken was a precinct
person for the Lincoln County Democratic Central Committee.
Ken served on the board of Coastal AIDS Network and also
worked for a time as Executive Director of that organization.
Ken served as a Lincoln City Chamber Ambassador for a
short time. Ken helped organize and construct the Halloween
Haunted House that served as a fundraiser for a local
charity. Ken loved Karaoke and could be found at Mona's
on any given evening singing his heart out. Ken's favorite
Holidays were Halloween and Christmas.
Ken left the Lincoln City area almost
three years ago. He continued to raise funds for CAN by
working through the Imperial Court system in the Salem
area. The last few months of Ken's life he lived in Portland.
Ken is survived by his mother Jo, his
sister's Kathy and Joyce and his brothers JR, Jerry, John,
Mike and many, many friends.
Kenny's life was celebrated at St.
James Episcopal Church, March 16th, 2007 at St. James. |
